Booking TMB huts: platform, dates, and off-platform stays

For the 2027 season, montourdumontblanc.com opens bookings on 15 October 2026 for Association members: book the whole itinerary in one session. Half-board is standard; bring a sleeping bag liner. Flégère, Bonatti, Elisabetta, and Lac Blanc are booked off-platform. Croix du Bonhomme is closed until summer 2029.
Association platform: one session for the whole tour
Mon Tour du Mont-Blanc covers a large share of circuit nights. For 2027, the announced opening for Association members is 15 October 2026. The idea is to book the whole itinerary in one session, to avoid gaps between nights.
Half-board is the standard. Bring a sleeping bag liner. For hut extras, carry cash in EUR and CHF. Practical detail and checklist: booking huts 2027.
Cancellation (Association FAQ)
Per the FAQ and terms: more than 30 days ahead, about 80% of the deposit is refunded; within 30 days, no refund unless optional insurance. Always read the official text when you book.
Off-platform: Flégère, Bonatti, Elisabetta, Lac Blanc
These four stops are booked directly, not via the Association platform.
- Flégère: bookings open 5 January 2027 at 00:01 (Paris time); season listed 12 June–18 September 2027 on refuge-de-la-flegere.com
- Bonatti, Elisabetta, Lac Blanc: 2027 booking open dates not yet announced — watch their sites
- Les Mottets: cash or French cheque only, no card (lesmottets.com)
Croix du Bonhomme closed
The Croix du Bonhomme hut has been closed since 17 August 2026 and is expected to reopen only in summer 2029 (FFCAM / hut site). That changes Contamines → Chapieux: no overnight at the col. See Croix du Bonhomme closed 2027.
Nights to prioritise
In the Trekalto catalogue, often-critical nights are: Auberge de la Nova, Les Mottets, Elisabetta, Bonatti, Trient, Flégère, Lac Blanc. Lock them first on opening day.
